Layering the pasta in lasagna

by Laura Johnson
(Gaithersburg, MD)

I use a 13" x 9" pan when I make lasagna. How do you fit 6 pieces of lasagna noodles in this size pan? Should I double/stack them?

Thanks,

Laura Johnson.

Response - Hi Laura and sorry for the delay. The answer is you break them to fit. Nothing more complex than that. Obviously the bigger bits the better. If some bits overlap a little it's not the end of the world.

And don't forget - with packet noodles there's no need to pre-boil them. Just layer over the sauce, add some cheese on top and into the oven they go!

Enjoy!

Matt.
