"That White Stuff"

My favorite Italian food experience did not start off so great.

I made a simple pasta with meat sauce, but did not have any basil or Italian seasonings to add to the sauce. Needless to say, it was lacking in flavor.

I filled a bowl with the pasta without the sauce and gave it to my boyfriend. He took one look at the pasta and said, "Are you just gonna give me that white stuff?" I added the sauce and he started eating it. Then he proceeded to ask if I was sick... that's how bad the pasta was! I usually make really good meals but was off my game that day.

But the story has a happy ending. I was forgiven for my bland pasta and my boyfriend and I are now engaged.
