Can I layer my lasagne the night before I intend to cook it or will it go soggy?

While I've never tried this my Italian friend has and she tells me that this approach - putting it in the fridge overnight - worked fine.
Of course you could also cook it the first night, leave your lasagne covered at room temperature overnight, and then reheat it through in the oven the next day. The benefit of this reheating approach is that because the lasagna has had time to sit in its cooked form, it's usually a bit more firm and less sloppy. At least in my experience - they're always tastier the day after!
