Pasta taste differences...

Do spaghetti, linguine, and 'angel hair' pasta taste the same?

Answer: In theory the answer is yes, as these names refer to the 'form' or shape of the pasta, rather than its actual taste.

That said, it is possible you could eat two different plates of spaghetti with very different tastes, if the spaghetti on each was made differently.

For example, spaghetti made with tomato-flavored pasta dough (make it here) would taste a little different to that made without using salt (not good!) or spaghetti made using the simple durum wheat 'semolina' flour method (see here).

Hope that helps!
Matt.
