The World Cuisine pastry mat is a large, high-end model and built specifically with kneading and rolling dough (bread, pastry, pasta etc.) - plus it is also great for working with sugar and chocolate.

It is made from a kind of fiberglass but is coated on both sides in non-stick silicone. As with all silicone mats of this type, its surface material also means that won't need to add extra flour to the mat as you would a kitchen worktop say when rolling out dough.

Meanwhile its underside's coating ensures it won't slip and slide around - staying absolutely secure as you would want. Just clean it with soapy water and when dried, roll it up to store it.
