Mom’s Homemade Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

by Jennifer Loganathan
(NY)

Introducing Mom’s homemade spaghetti sauce recipe, which uses just one crockpot to cook everything.

Ingredients:

- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- 1 large can sauce
- 1 small can of paste
- 2 medium cans of Heinz Four Cheeses sauce
- Spaghetti seasoning in a packet

If needed, also a little sugar.

Steps:

- Put all ingredients in a crock pot and mix together.

- Slow cook in crock pot or on the stove for a few hours until done.

If you like a meat sauce, you can add 1–1½ lbs of cooked ground lamb or beef & diced garlic, drain the oil and add to the sauce. Let it cook all together in the crockpot.

Simply serve with cooked spaghetti.

Thanks Jennifer!

Really appreciate you submitting this homemade spaghetti sauce recipe; you just have to love recipes where you simply throw everything in one pot, easy as you like!

Be sure to also check out this Italian pasta soup section, as most of these dishes use the same 'everything in there' method.

Matt.
