Italian Cookbooks: Grilled Pizzas and Piadinas

by Matt
(Pasta Recipes Made Easy)

This interesting little book is the first by Craig Priebe, who ran the Atlanta grilled pizza restaurant for many years.

Craig's grilled recipes here are designed for the home cook however, so he explains how you can make these delicious snacks whatever the cooking equipment you have - either on an outdoor charcoal or gas grill, or indoor grills such as skillets and panini presses.

Perfect for fun parties as well as regular meals, Craig's pizzas span a wide range of flavors and ingredients, and of course he shows you how to begin by whipping up some perfect quality pizza dough.

This book also features piadinas, which Craig describes as "folded Italian sandwiches", plus he offers up some scrummy salads and desserts too (including pizza sugar cookies, mmm...).

If you and your family love pizza (and really, who doesn't?), this book is definitely worth checking out.
