Defrosting frozen pasta

If you have frozen fresh pasta, should it be defrosted before final cooking?

Answer:

Hi Sue, the answer is yes. When you next take it out of the freezer, put it on a lightly floured plate (and flour the dough too) until it defrosts. Then boil up to cook as normal.

Note: the ideal situation is to freeze fresh pasta when it's still a dough ball.
