Cheese ravioli for Christmas Eve?

Would you feel making cheese ravioli for Christmas Eve is too heavy?

Seeing as I have all kinds of fried & stuffed fish... we are Italian and usually I make linguine with garlic & oil or fish.

Any suggestions would be so appreciated!

Answer: Hi Sherrie - I think, traditionally speaking, that cheese-filled ravioli could be perceived as being a little too heavy for this particular occasion. Or at least not the perfect choice.

I've asked the family and they reckon that fish ravioli with a light tomato sauce (i.e. maybe fresh cherry toms instead of a heavier sauce made from canned plum tomatoes) could be the way forward: it will be much lighter and in keeping with tradition!

Or else just stick to linguine with seafood.
