This restaurant makes the best pizza in all of Texas, and they have the awards to prove it.

Not only do they make the best pizza, but the Cavalli's are the friendliest people you will ever meet!

This is the only pizza restaurant in Texas to have Verace Pizza Napoletana Association (VPN) certification. (I read this on their wall.)

Just a tip...it takes them 36 hours to make the dough, so if you go too late in the evening, you may be out of luck. They sell out because Cavalli's is always busy.

Their sandwiches and salad are yummy too. My favorite is the Irving salad (greens, goat cheese, glazed pecans, dried cherries, and their own vinaigrette dressing).

If you ever take a trip to Dallas, put Cavalli's on your list of places to visit. The restaurant isn't much to look at, but don't let that fool you. The food is fantastic. And the prices are very reasonable.

One tip...after getting your fill for the meal, don't leave without tasting the Nutella dessert pizza!
